What is an Econista?
One part guerrilla environmentalist, one part fashionista, an Econista is an educated fashion forward individual who is more than just a pretty face! An Econista believes that style doesn’t need to come at a high price to the earth and to human beings. They care about the issues, seek out facts then find and support sustainable-style, or eco-chic, alternatives because they recognize the need for change is urgent. Econistas put their money where their mouth is by making meaningful purchases that benefit not only their fabulous looks, but their fight in the green revolution. Are you an Econista?

What qualifies as sustainable fashion?
Either (1) made, at least in part, from recycled, organic or sustainable materials (2) made in the USA to reduce carbon footprint (3) complies with International Fair Trade practices or are handmade (4) are recycled pieces because that are bought used or vintage or are swapped.
